Louise Floate G I BIOL An expert with over 26 years' experience within the fields of handwriting and document examination as well as glass, toolmark and footwear interpretation. Also expert in the examination of a wide range of materials including fibres, glass, toolmarks and footwear marks. Ms Floate has attended scenes as a fire investigator, produced statements in several high profile and complex cases including Ian Huntley and the investigation into the shooting of Jean Charles de Mendes by the IPCC. She successfully led the national training and professional development programme of the Questioned Documents Units ensuring that all goals were met. Ms Floate regularly gives evidence at Magistrates and Crown courts.
John D Coltman Mr Coltman is a retired Royal Air Force Officer now acting as a specialist in tachograph analysis and in interpretation of analysis data. Mr Coltman has written published data and designed computer software programs in relation to tachograph analysis.
Roger Wornham Mr Wornham was a serving Police Officer for over 28 years during which time he specialised in traffic related matters before entering private practice. Mr Wornham has over 32 years expertise in forensic road accident investigation, vehicle examinations, the use of most types of speed enforcement equipment and forensic tyre examinations.
Richard W Emmerson BSc (Hons) PhD CChem MRSC Dr Emmerson worked at Home Office laboratories in Nottingham, Cardiff and Chepstow prior to entering private practice. He specialises in cases involving burglary, drugs, toxicology and alcohol-related matters.
